Reconnect Slack to Alfy

Fix the "Slack is no longer connected to Alfy Matching" banner by reinstalling Alfy in your Slack workspace from the web dashboard in a few clicks.

If Alfy was removed from your Slack workspace, it can no longer post rounds or sync channel members. The Alfy web dashboard then shows "Slack is no longer connected to Alfy Matching. Reinstall it to restore notifications and syncing." Reinstall Alfy from that banner to fix it.

Reinstall Alfy#

Open the web dashboard.
In the banner at the top, click Reinstall Slack.
Follow the Slack steps and click Allow. Check that the right workspace is selected.

The banner is only shown to Alfy admins and BuddiesHR workspace admins.

While Slack is disconnected#

Program actions in the dashboard are greyed out, with the message "The chat integration is disconnected. Reinstall it from the banner above to use this action."

In Microsoft Teams#

If Alfy was removed from Microsoft Teams, the banner says "Microsoft Teams is no longer connected to Alfy Matching." There is no reinstall button: add Alfy back to your channel or group chat from Teams. See install Alfy in Microsoft Teams.
