Find Alfy's Home tab in Slack

Open Alfy's Home tab in Slack to find your personal coffee chat settings and, for Alfy admins, a summary of every program and a dashboard link.

Alfy's Home tab in Slack holds your personal settings for Alfy, the BuddiesHR random coffee app. Admins also see a summary of every program and an Open dashboard ↗ button. To get there, search for Alfy in Slack and open the app's Home tab. In Microsoft Teams, type settings to Alfy instead.

Step 1: Search for Alfy in Slack#

Type "Alfy" in your Slack search bar. It's the quickest way to get to Alfy.

Step 2: Select the result labeled APP#

In the search results, click the entry labeled APP. This opens Alfy's app in Slack.

Step 3: Open the Home tab#

If Slack doesn't open the Home tab directly, click Home at the top left.

What you'll find there#

  • A trial banner with the days left, for admins while the free trial runs.
  • ⚙️ Admin Settings (admins only): a read-only summary of each program and the Open dashboard ↗ button. Programs are edited in the web dashboard.
  • 👤 Personal Settings: your programs, with 💤 Snooze and 🚫 Opt out buttons.
  • 🔄 Latest Connections: who you were recently matched with.
  • ⭐ Miscellaneous: your calendar connection and conversation starters.
