Uninstall or reinstall Clappy in Slack
Uninstalling Clappy from Slack keeps your data and doesn't cancel your subscription. Reinstalling it in the same workspace restores your settings and history.

What uninstalling does#
- In Slack,
/clap, the Home tab and Clappy's direct messages and channel posts stop, including Appreciation Day. - Your settings, recognitions, rewards and claim history are kept in the BuddiesHR web dashboard.
- Clappy admins see a banner in the dashboard: "Slack is no longer connected to Clappy Kudos. Reinstall it to restore notifications and syncing.", with a
Reinstall Slackbutton.
Uninstall Clappy#
Follow the steps in uninstall an app from Slack.
Reinstall Clappy#
Click Reinstall Slack in the dashboard banner, or install Clappy again in the same Slack workspace. Only a Clappy admin can reinstall it.
Your settings and history come back as they were, and Clappy syncs your workspace members again. If setup was already finished, you land on the Settings tab of Clappy's admin side in the dashboard instead of the setup page.
