Find Clappy's admin settings

Clappy's admin settings live in the Settings tab of the BuddiesHR web dashboard. Open it from Clappy's Home tab in Slack or sign in directly.

Clappy's admin settings live in the BuddiesHR web dashboard, in the Settings tab of Clappy's admin side. Only Clappy admins can open it. Clappy's Home tab in Slack shows admins a read-only summary, with a button that takes you straight to the dashboard.

Step 1: Open the dashboard#

You have two ways in:

From Slack: go to Clappy's Home tab (see how to find Clappy's Home tab). At the top, in the ⚙️ Admin Settings section, click Open dashboard ↗. It signs you in and opens Clappy's settings directly, so you can skip the next steps.
From your browser: go to dashboard.buddieshr.com and sign in with Sign in with Google, or enter your email and click Login with email to get a login link. Use the same email address as your Slack account.

Step 2: Switch to Admin#

Open Clappy (Clappy Kudos in the app switcher at the top left). At the top right, switch from Personal to Admin.

Step 3: Open the Settings tab#

The admin side has four tabs: Home (the insights dashboard), Leaderboards, Rewards and Settings. Click Settings.

The Settings tab has these sections, in order:

Section	What you set there
`Public kudos`	The channels where public kudos are posted, the company timezone and the welcome message
`👏 Kudos`	How many claps each person can give per day, week or month, and whether people can join a kudos
`Give extra claps`	Claps on behalf of the company
`Leaderboard`	Whether everyone can see the leaderboard
`Appreciation Day`	Your Appreciation Day
`💎 Company values`	The values people can tag on their kudos
`Admins`	Who can manage Clappy

Each section saves on its own. Public kudos and 👏 Kudos have their own Save button, the leaderboard switch saves as soon as you flip it, and company values save with each change.

What admins see in Slack#

At the top of Clappy's Home tab, admins see a ⚙️ Admin Settings section that only they can see. It's a read-only summary of your setup: members, claps per person, kudos channels, leaderboard visibility, Appreciation Day, rewards and company values. To change anything, click Open dashboard ↗.
