How you earn XP#
- 1 XP per clap you give. Giving 2 claps to 3 people earns 6 XP.
- 1 XP per clap you receive, including extra claps from admins.
- Claps added with
Clap this too 👏count for the person who adds them and for the people who receive them. - XP never expires, and claiming a reward doesn't remove any.
Track your progress#
In Slack#
On Clappy's Home tab, under 📈 Your statistics, you see:
- a progress bar with a percentage,
- "You are currently at Level N - Name" with your XP,
- how much XP you need for the next level, with an emoji hint of its name.
On the dashboard#
On the Home tab of the dashboard's personal side, the Your statistics card shows your level, your points, a progress bar and the points you need for the next level. Below, the 10 levels are lined up: the ones you've reached show their name, the others only their number and emoji.
Download your certificate#
When claps you give, receive or add take you to a new level, Clappy sends you a direct message: "🎉 Congratulations, you just unlocked a new level", with the level's name. It includes a certificate showing your name, your level, the claps you've given and received, and the company value you're most recognized for. Click Download certificate to save it.
Your first level's message also explains what levels are and where to follow your progress. Each level is announced only once.
