Where is Clappy's Home tab in Slack?

Clappy's Home tab is your personal space in Slack for Clappy, the BuddiesHR kudos app. To open it, search for "Clappy" in Slack, select the app, then click Home.

Step 1: Search for Clappy#

Type "Clappy" in Slack's search bar. It's the quickest way to get to Clappy.

Step 2: Select the result with the APP label#

In the search results, click the entry labeled APP. That's the Clappy app in Slack.

Step 3: Open the Home tab#

If Slack doesn't open the Home tab automatically, click Home at the top left of the app.

The first time you open it, Clappy also sends you a "Welcome to Clappy 🎉" direct message explaining how it works.

What's on the Home tab#

• ⚙️ Admin Settings (Clappy admins only): a read-only summary of Clappy's settings (audience, claps per person, channels, leaderboard, Appreciation Day, rewards and company values), with an Open dashboard ↗ button. Settings are changed in the web dashboard. See find the admin settings.
• 👤 Personal Settings (everyone):
  • 📈 Your statistics: claps received and given, your redeemable balance and your level, with 🎁 View/Claim rewards ↗ if your company offers rewards.
  • ⏳ Current period status: the claps you have left to give, when they reset, and a Give 👏 button.
  • 🏆 Leaderboard: the ranking, with period, department and company value filters. Hidden from members if your admins turned it off.
  • 🆕 Latest activities: the latest recognitions, with filters, and Open the dashboard ↗ to see the full feed.

See find your personal settings for details. During a free trial, admins also see how many days are left at the top of the Home tab.
