Display a team vertically in the Linky org chart

By default, Linky, the BuddiesHR org chart app for Slack, spreads each team side by side. For wide teams, you can stack a branch vertically under its manager. Anyone can do it, in Personal or Admin mode.

Switch a branch to vertical#

Click the round arrow icon at the bottom of the manager's card. The branch below them switches to a vertical layout. Click the icon again to go back to horizontal.

The icon only shows on managers whose team includes other managers. It never shows on the top card, nor on cards that are already inside a vertical branch.

People without a team of their own are stacked in columns automatically, so a manager with many direct reports doesn't make the chart too wide.
