Pulsy, the BuddiesHR survey and poll app for Slack, is free for workspaces with fewer than 10 active users. From 10 active users, a 30-day free trial starts, and when it ends without a subscription Pulsy stops sending new surveys and polls. For prices, see Is BuddiesHR free?.

When the trial starts#

The trial starts when your workspace reaches 10 active users. If it drops back below 10, the trial clock is cleared and Pulsy is free again.

See how many days are left#

Admins see a banner during the trial:

  • In Pulsy's Home tab in Slack: "⏳ N days remaining in your free trial.", with 💳 Subscribe and View pricing.
  • In the web dashboard: "You are currently on a free trial. (N days remaining)", with View upgrade options.

What stops when the trial expires#

Without a subscription:

  • Nobody can create or duplicate polls. Pulsy replies "You cannot perform this action because the free trial for your workspace has expired."
  • Admins can't launch surveys, create recurring surveys or polls, or change a recurring series.
  • Admins can't send follow-up questions on answers.
  • Scheduled surveys and polls go back to draft, and recurring surveys and polls skip their next editions.

In Slack, the admin banner changes to "⚠️ Your free trial has expired. Subscribe to keep using this app." On the web, admins see "Your free trial has expired. Upgrade to continue using Pulsy Survey." and members see "Your free trial has expired. Contact an admin to upgrade the app."
