Include Slack guests in Pulsy surveys
Let single-channel and multi-channel guests in your Slack workspace be part of Pulsy survey audiences and answer surveys, with one switch in the dashboard settings.
SlackUpdated Oct 26, 20261 min readBy default, Pulsy, the BuddiesHR survey app for Slack, leaves Slack guests out. A Pulsy admin can include them, so contractors, freelancers and other guests can be part of a survey's audience and share their feedback.
Step 1: Open Manage guest users#
Open the admin dashboard, then click the Settings tab. In the Admins section, click Manage guest users, next to Manage admins. The button only shows while Slack is connected.
Step 2: Turn guests on#
In the Manage guest users window, turn on the switch next to your Slack workspace. The change is saved straight away ("Settings updated"). Click Done to close the window.
Single-channel and multi-channel guests can then be picked in a survey's audience, like members. See create a survey.
FAQ#
Can I send a Pulsy survey to Slack guests?#
Yes, once a Pulsy admin turns on Manage guest users for the workspace. Until then, guests are left out of survey audiences.
Does this setting change other BuddiesHR apps?#
No. Each app has its own Manage guest users switch.
