Use Pulsy's question bank or write your own questions

Pulsy's question bank has 58 ready-made employee survey questions in 13 themes, from eNPS to management and well-being. Pulsy admins add them to a survey in a few clicks, and can write their own questions for any survey.

What's in the question bank#

53 questions use a 1 to 5 scale, the eNPS question uses a 0 to 10 scale, and 4 are open-ended (one each in Pride, DEIB, Growth & Development and Senior Leadership). Scale questions come with an optional comment. All bank questions are required.

If your workspace used Pulsy before the move to the web dashboard, your previous question library, including your own questions, was kept.

Add questions from the bank#

You can do this in step 2 of the Create survey wizard, or in the Questions tab of a draft or recurring survey.

1. Click Add from question bank.
2. In the Add questions window, choose a theme in Select theme. It opens on eNPS.
3. Every question of the theme is checked. Uncheck the ones you don't want.
4. Click Add selected.

Create your own question#

1. Click Create question.
2. Pick a theme in Select theme (General or one of the bank's themes).
3. Type your question in Write your question.
4. Choose a Type of question:
   • 1 to 5 scale (Strongly disagree → Strongly agree)
   • 0 to 10 scale (Not at all likely → Extremely likely)
   • Multiple choice: type at least 2 options in Enter options below, one per line, or use Pre-fill templates (Yes / No, Agree / Disagree, More often → Less often, Very important → Very unimportant, Very useful → Not useful). People pick one option.
   • Open-ended
5. Keep Make this question required checked (the default) or uncheck it, and check Include optional comment to let people explain their answer. Open-ended questions only have the required option.
6. Click Create question. When editing, the button is Save changes.

Edit, reorder or remove questions#

On a survey that isn't launched yet, or on a recurring survey's Questions tab:

• Click the pencil next to a question to open Edit question.
• Drag a question to move it.
• Remove a question; Pulsy asks you to confirm.

Once a survey is launched, its questions are locked.
