Palmy, the BuddiesHR time-off tracker for Slack, is free for teams under 10 users. From 10 users, you get a 30-day free trial, then you subscribe. See BuddiesHR pricing for prices and how the free plan works.

Who counts as a user#

Palmy counts the people in its audience: everyone who can use Palmy. Bots don't count. The trial starts when that number reaches 10. If it drops back under 10, Palmy is free again.

During the trial#

Admins see ⏳ N days remaining in your free trial. at the top of Palmy's Home tab, with 💳 Subscribe and View pricing. The web dashboard shows a trial banner too.

When the trial ends#

  • Admins see ⚠️ Your free trial has expired. Subscribe to keep using this app.
  • Nobody can send new requests, in Slack or on the web. /palmy replies "Your Palmy free trial has ended. Ask a workspace admin to upgrade..."
  • Daily announcements, Slack statuses, quota accruals and approval reminders stop too.

Click 💳 Subscribe in the Home tab to pick a plan and pay. Requests work again as soon as you've subscribed.
