Edit or view a past Stany standup answer

You can change your Stany standup answer until the report expires, in Slack or on the web dashboard; after that, you can still read it but not change it. Your admin sets the deadline: 1, 2, 3 or 7 days after the standup starts (see Set the schedule, timezone and deadline).

Edit your answer in Slack#

1. Open Stany's Home tab.
2. In 📋 Your latest Standup reports, find the report and click ✍️ Edit. You can also click Yes, I'm ready again on the channel post.
3. The Enter your Standup window opens with your answers and the note "You're editing your previously submitted standup. Saving will replace your earlier answers."
4. Change your answers and click Submit.

Your reply in the channel thread is updated in place, and the summary follows.

Edit your answer on the web dashboard#

In My check-ins, click Edit on the report, change your answers and click Update. See Check in from the web dashboard.

View an expired answer#

Once the report has expired, the Home tab shows 👀 View instead of ✍️ Edit. It opens your answers in read-only mode, with "You're currently viewing your answers because you cannot update your Standup report anymore." Clicking Yes, I'm ready on the channel post does the same. A report you skipped has nothing to view.

If you try to answer or skip an expired report, Stany shows "This report has expired. You can no longer submit or skip it."
